Cycling, the leisure pleasure for the whole family. Would you like to make a daily trip? For this the new salt and brine cycle track is ideal. The only 38 km long adventure cycle path leads past varied landscapes in the Neckar valley, Bad Rappenau via Bad Wimpfen, Untereisesheim, Bad Friedrichshall and Gundelsheim. On this route you will learn a lot about the history and present of salt and brine.

Hiking and nordic walking

The Neckarsteig, the certified quality hiking trail between Heidelberg and Bad Wimpfen, offers a special hiking experience. On around 125 km of well-marked trails, the route runs in 7 stages and a total of 3,127 meters of altitude along the river, all with a high experience value for lovers of culture and nature.

For those who like to be on wheels, Bad Rappenau offers a 4.5 km long inline skater circuit.  

Inline skating does not only increase the fitness level in terms of a health-promoting cardiovascular training, as the slow, gliding movements do not tire the muscles so quickly, but also demands the most important muscle groups and promotes strength, coordination and mobility.
